Ogun State Government says it has completed 130 housing units, out of the 450 units proposed for the Prince Court Housing Estate at Kemta, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, in fulfilment of the promise to provide affordable housing for the people of the State.

The Acting General Manager, Ogun State Housing Corporation (OGSHC), ESV. Wale Ojo, made this known while addressing Pressmen in his office at Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, saying the feat recorded on the project was unprecedented in history of the State.

ESV. Ojo added that the new estate was in line with the core mandate of the Corporation to provide housing to citizens, especially medium and low income earners, in tandem with the housing policy, as well as Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration’s agenda for public servants in the State.

He explained that the estate, comprising two bedrooms and three bedroom semi-detached bungalows has good network of tarred road, fenced and gated, with pipe-borne water, drainages, electricity and recreation centre among others.

The housing expert revealed that the estate, according the State government, would be replicated in Ogun East and West Senatorial Districts.
