The Chairman of the Presidential Screening Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator David Mark has said two of the aspirants failed to scale through at the screening of all candidates on Friday.
Mark, a former Senate President however did not disclosed the names of the aspirants who have lost the opportunity to continue their journey and dreams. He said the two of them have lost the N45 million that each of them paid for their Expression of Interest and Nomination Form.
The Chairman of the screening committee said 15 others qualified to move ahead and would contest at the party’s National Convention coming up next month.
The PDP had slated Friday, April 29, 2022 for the screening of all its presidential aspirants at Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
