…pledge selfless representation
Ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) House of Representative primary slated for May 12 2022, a Reps hopeful in Ajeromi Ifelodun federal constituency, Chief Francis Bartholomew Chima (aka OMOBARCA) has called on members of the party in his constituency to give him chance to serve them and change the political narrative in Ajegunle.
Chief Chima made the call at an official declaration parley he hosted in the heart of Ajegunle, emphasising the importance of people’s support for his aspiration.
According to him Ajegunle deserves selfless representation, owing to the glaring deprivation suffered by constituents over the years.
Chima said: “You have called me to represent you at the Federal House Representatives and I humbly accept to contest the Ajeromi Ifelodun seat.
“We can achieve it with your support and make Ajegunle great again.
“I bring you the good news of hope and love, that together with your support we can rescue Ajegunle.
“I submit my humble self to offer a selfless service. For me it is a call that will change Ajegunle for better.
“To change Ajegunle is in your hand, I am ready to serve, I have requisite credentials for the task ahead,I want to serve you allow me to serve in Lagos State.
Earlier in his opening remarks, Mr. Charles Chidiebere Ejimadu, Director General of Team OMOBARCA Campaign Organisation, appraised the attributes spotted in the aspirant which endears him to many, while urging them to go all out and affirm him as the candidate of the party during the primaries.
To us Chief Chima is a golden fish, he has restored the lost hope of many hapless Ajegunle people.
“I urge all of us to join hands and ensure he emerge as our party’s candidate .
“He is a nice person who supported PDP all through. He has a name,a face and personality that everyone can identify with.
At the well attended forum,PDP stakeholders in the Ajeromi Ifelodun community took turns to testify about the aspirant’s unprecedented kind and selfless gesture preceding his aspiration.
Blazing the trail of testimonies about Chima’s unmatched kindness, an octogenarian Pa Fakunle stated why he chose to support him for the actualisation of his aspiration.
“I am supporting him,because has been a good person, he never harmed anyone he just kind to everyone around him.
“I am convinced that if he gets there he will help many constituents.
“He is the one that can revive dead PDP in Ajegunle, he is the first to ensure the party has a befitting secretariat here.
A member of the Elders Council in Ajeromi Ifelodun,Evangelist Israel Ogunrinde counseled the aspirant not to give attention to hearsay but follow his passion for great attainment.
“Be a leader avoid gossips, don’t relent in good deeds. In Ajegunle politics, we have many roads to cross and there is time for everything.
Alhaja Tawan Olusi one of the political mothers of the aspirant, note that Ajegunle is divinely blessed with a selfless and committed individual, who can deliver dividend of democracy to the masses.
“I am very jealous of Ajegunle, you need to be grateful to God for giving you someone who is selflessly passionate about making you happy, God will crown his efforts with success.”
Another close ally of the aspirant Mr.Femi Olawoyin noted that the party faithful will the aspirant a lot of good if they can get the Permanent Voter Cards as that is what is required for them to have a voice on election day.
“ Chima is God gift to Ajegunle, he consistently deliver on promises made. I assure you if you give him your vote you will not regret. Get your PVCs to ensure this becomes a reality.
Prince Alloy Okafor also a member of the elders council, restate their resolve to stand solidly behind the aspirant all the way.
However, a PDP aspirant in Ajeromi Ifelodun constituency II Mr. Ajadi Toheeb (aka Simple) eulogize Chima’s supportive mien, attributing it to why he decided to also throw his hat in the ring to jostle for a seat in the State House of Assembly.
Party faithful were however not bored all through the declartion ceremony as an Ajegunle artiste Etikerentse Samuel whose stage name is Flektaman held the people spellbound with melodies that resonates round AJ city.
