The crown prince of Isheri Kingdom, Prince Idris Balogun, has called on all stakeholders in the Southwest to ensure the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) come 2023, adding that he is the only panacea for the ailing Nigerian polity.
Prince Balogun fondly called ‘Oluomo Kafata’ made this call in a chat with newsmen in Lagos, stating that it is only the APC national leader that possess the magic wand to rescue the country out of the woods.
Balogun said, “ It is only Baba Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that can bring us out of the economic problems we are in Nigeria, he is the only one that can take us out if the situation.
“He has done it in Lagos while he was the Governor , back in 1999 after assuming office, he was able to turn around the state for good and not only that, he has also churned out a lot of great leaders like Governor Fashola who also transformed Lagos the more.
“Governor Akinwunmi Ambode was also another good sample all thanks to him, we now have Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Lagos is better for it.
“Asiwaju did so well and will still do more if given a chance, imagine the cosmopolitan nature of Lagos State accommodating people from neighbouring countries like Ghana,Gabon,Togo,Cotdivoir and others shows his dexterity and the economy prowess.” Balogun said.
The Isheri Prince who had already indicated poise to represent the Alimosho Federal constituency at the House of Representatives Abuja, also hinted few about his moves amidst his people.
Some of which is sending jitters down the spines of his would be contenders.
According to the Oluomo Kafata, in a short while he is going to be giving out school bags, lunch bags and even writing materials to pupils and students in the constituency.
“Already we have buses plying the various routes in this constituency, taking our children to and fro school this is unprecedented here, courtesy my office.
“The liberation of Alimosho constituents is my goal and that is being pursued even while I have not yet taken the reins of power, when I eventually get to the House of Reps come 2023, I will come up with a bill that will address the security issues, seamlessly.
“The traditional rulers need be constituted into an additional tier of government, to take charge of local security.
“The Kanu’s and Sunday Igboho’s certainly hailed from somewhere and they rever their traditional rulers thus if the tier exists, they will be the one to relay the secessionist message to the powers that be without friction or confrontation and their prayers will be attended to.
“I have a lot of plans, recently I set up a special committee targeted at alleviating poverty in Alimosho environ, we acquired 100 acres of land in our neighbouring state and various agricultural produce are been churned out for people’s consumption.” Prince Balogun said.
