2023: Jandor joins Lagos governorship race

…says education,security,health,others main focus

Mr. Olajide Adediran, one of Peoples Democratic Party’s aspirants jostling for the governorship seat of Lagos State, has reeled out what will be his major focus if eventually elected Governor come 2023.

The governorship hopeful,Jandor has he is fondly called by his followers officially declares intention to contest for the seat of Lagos State governor on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), promising that if elected into office his administration would focus on education, health, security and initiate measures to ease traffic congestion in the state.

The Haven Event Centre in Ikeja GRA, which was the venue of the declaration was thronged by thousands of his supporters and party members across the state.

Jandor said his decision to contest the governor of Lagos state was as a result of several years of strategic planning and studying of the situation in the state, adding1p that Lagos was leaving on past glory despite its huge resources and needed to be rescued.

The governorship aspirant, said if elected into office his administration would declare free compulsory primary education in the state and also provide education materials including uniform to pupils.

He further promised that his administration would build and provide infrastructures in hospitals across the state check the increasing cases of limited bed-space and upgrade equipments in the state owned hospitals.

According to him, “We have been on this for the past seven years through Lagos4lagos movement and now we are in PDP. What we intend do freely is to see that in all the sector of the economic in the state we should have iconic projects.

“We should not see children hawking again, that is why we say that education would be given a basic priority.

“We don’t have government in Lagos that care for us. This government have been paying lip-service to free education we know that with the resources in Lagos State we can make primary education free and compulsory.

“We would ensure that we don’t only have free education but uniforms given to pupils and the uniform would be sown by the people in the locality. It is only then we can say it is a criminal for not seeing your children go to school”.

Speaking further, Jandor stressed that his administration would open up Lagos economic and create enabling environment for SME’s to strive, initiate policies and programs that would assist entrepreneurship and creativity in the state.

He added that if elected into office his administration would improve the security situation in Lagos, initiate measures to check traffic congestion and robbery in most part of the state.

“If you look a video that is trending comparing Dubai’s 50 year’s ago and now, It is vision.we don’t have anyone but we have vision. When you are consistency there is no way money would not come. If we can get on the ballot that would be the end of APC government in Lagos State,” he added.
