The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has called on Nigerians to reject the presidential ambition of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu.

The IPOB leader noted that a chance for the former Governor of Lagos State to emerge as President will bring about doom.

Kanu issued this warning on Wednesday in a statement he personally signed.

He wrote, “If AMOTEKUN fails to drive away from this Fulani army of darkness from Yoruba forests, as #ESN is now gallantly doing in the East, the whole of Yoruba land or what is left of it after the loss of Ilorin to the caliphate will be lost to the Fulani conquistadors forever.”

“Remember how they took Ilorin from you. Don’t allow history to repeat itself.”

“Reject Tinubu presidential ambitions or else you are doomed. Insist on #REFERENDUM.”

In a related development, a popular lawyer, Olusegun Bamgbose, on Tuesday advised the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to contest for the Presidency in the 2023 presidential election.

Addressing members of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) in Aba, Abia State on Tuesday, Bamgbose said Tinubu does not need to become the President in order to be relevant.
