2023: Southern youths applauds Arewa Group for endorsing Udom for President

Youths under the aegis of Southern Youths For Sustainable Development (SYFSD), have applauded the Arewa Movement For Actionable Change (AMFAC) for endorsing the Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel as their presidential candidate for the 2023 election, insisting that it is a right step in the right direction.

The spokesman of SYFSD, Edward Emosa, disclosed this while addressing journalists on Saturday in Abuja.

He said: “The numerous achievements of Gov Emmanuel Udom are finally being appreciated by people from various parts of the country.”

The spokesman said the numerous achievements of Udom in Akwa Ibom State have become his major advertisements across the nation as it can never go unnoticed.

He added that: “Remarkable achievements and great victories are carried on the shoulders of men with vision on a mission for a course which is greater than them, over the years Gov Udom has been doing great things for the people of Akwa Ibom. Such a selfless leader must be given the opportunity to take over the affairs of the Nation in such a critical time.

“We the southern youths applauds the Arewa Movement for Actionable Change (AMFAC) for their courageous move despite the divide that has been a problem for decades in the country.

“It is such a great feeling too see that they can think beyond any sentiment and personal interest and reach out for a credible candidate irrespective of where he is from. With such character, I believe that the unity of this country will be restored.”

He however called on others Nigerians from different geopolitical zones to add their voices to the growing call for Governor Udom to contest for president in order to replicate what he has done in Akwa Ibom in the whole nation.

He recalled that the governor had worked rigorously on his administration vision of constructing the tallest building and others major project in the South-South and Southeast regions.

Emosa said Governor Udom Emmanuel stewardship as the governor of Akwa Ibom State, especially his industrialization agenda would be extended to other parts of the country if elected.
