Nigeria’s Super Falcons will target a third consecutive win against the Three Lionesses of England when both teams clash at Lang Park, Brisbane, on Monday.
The nine-time African champions will also look to record a third consecutive clean sheet against the European champions.
The Super Falcons lost their first outing against England 3-2 at the 1995 World Cup.
The West Africans have, however, emerged victorious in the last two meetings between the two teams.
The Super Falcons avenged that defeat by edging out England 1-0 in a friendly at Carrow Road on July 23.
Former skipper of the team, Florence Omagbemi, scored the winning goal.
Nigeria thrashed England 3-0 in another friendly at the Madejski Stadium on April 22, 2004.
Former African Footballer of the Year, Perpetual Nkwocha, bagged a brace, while Rita Nwadike was also on the score sheet.
