Mrs. Ngozi Ezeonu Uchendu, a dedicated member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and a professional with the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, has unveiled a trilogy of spiritually empowering books: Mastering Prayer, Breaking Curses and Limitations, and My Glory Must Shine. ‘
These works, born out of divine inspiration, aim to bring hope, deliverance, and enlightenment to readers while fostering a culture of reading and spiritual reflection.
According to Mrs. Uchendu, her calling to write was divinely inspired, guided by the Holy Spirit during the global COVID-19 pandemic—a time marked by isolation, fear, and reflection. She explains: “The Holy Ghost directed me to write these books. During the lockdown, while others were limited by circumstances, I found solace in prayer, study, and divine inspiration. These books are an extension of that journey, a way to reach people with God’s message and help them shine in their God-given destinies.”
The trilogy serves as both a spiritual guide and a practical tool for overcoming life’s obstacles. “The Bible says we are the light of the world,” she shares. “But many are hindered by unseen patterns and limitations. These books aim to identify and address such barriers, helping readers step into their God-ordained glory.”
An Overview of the Books include: Mastering Prayer focused on the power and practice of prayer, this book is a guide to developing a deeper connection with God. Mrs. Uchendu emphasizes that prayer is not only a spiritual exercise but a lifestyle that leads to breakthroughs and divine revelations.
Breaking Curses and Limitations As a deliverance minister, Mrs. Uchendu holds this book close to her heart.
She explores generational patterns and curses, offering biblical insights and testimonies of deliverance. “Life is spiritual,” she explains. “And to run forward in life, we must connect with the One who holds the key—Jesus Christ.”
My Glory Must Shine This book encourages readers to recognize and embrace their God-given potential. Mrs. Uchendu highlights the importance of spiritual alignment, noting that “for your glory to shine, you must align with God’s purpose for your life.”
Faith, Culture, and the Power of Reading
Uchendu also emphasizes the role of faith and knowledge in personal transformation. “The Bible says, ‘My people perish for lack of knowledge.’ Reading helps us gain wisdom and deeper understanding,” she says.
She laments the decline in reading culture, particularly in Africa, and sees her books as a way to reignite the passion for reading.
“In a world where people prefer watching to reading, we must return to the written word. Through reading, we gain wisdom that transforms lives. These books are not just for spiritual growth but also for encouraging intellectual and cultural development.”
A Legacy of Transformation
Mrs. Uchendu’s books are a call to action for Christians to rise above challenges, embrace their identity as children of God, and walk in their destinies. She shares personal testimonies and accounts of deliverance that illustrate the power of faith and divine intervention.
The books, structured into 5-7 chapters each, reflect years of prayer, study, and dedication. “They are a legacy,” she says, “meant to inspire not just this generation but those to come.”
Encouragement for Readers.
For those who delve into her books, Mrs. Uchendu promises a journey of transformation:
“Readers should expect great deliverance. These books will help you identify what holds you back, equip you with tools for spiritual warfare, and guide you toward shining in your divine purpose. But most importantly, they emphasize the place of salvation. Without Christ, a life full of crisis awaits. To shine, you must start with the Lord.”
Looking Ahead
While Mastering Prayer, Breaking Curses and Limitations, and My Glory Must Shine are transformative works, Mrs. Uchendu reveals plans for more writings in the future. Her first book, written in honor of her late father—a man she describes as a legend and a martyr—set the stage for her journey as an author.
“Writing was never something I envisioned for myself. It was inspired by God. And just as we can covet spiritual gifts, I believe we can cultivate talents like writing to bless others.”
Conclusion
Mrs. Uchendu’s trilogy is more than a collection of books; it’s a mission to uplift, inspire, and transform lives. As she continues to balance her roles in ministry, professional life, and writing, her message remains clear: with faith, wisdom, and intentionality, everyone can shine and fulfill their God-given purpose
