Senator Eyinanya Araribe has asked the Federal Government to be more transparent in its engagement with the South East question.
Abaribe said it is worrisome to see the Federal Government go negotiating with foreign Fulani herdsmen and are in a hurry to integrate these killers who even shot down military fighter jets down, while it declared Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, who were merely exercising their right to self-determination as terrorists and an illegal association.
Abaribe who was the Senate Minority Leader in the National Assembly was speaking on Arise TV.
He said the South East is willing to be a part of the country if the leaders are ready to embrace all segments of the country.

He said the President Muhammadu Buhari ought to be mindful of the legacies it would be leaving behind after eight years in power.

On the intention of the government to borrow more to finance 2021 budget, Buhari said it is unimaginative wondering how the government could sustain a debt ratio of 98 percent which simply means it would have just two percent to finance real sectors of the economy.
He apologized to students who were prevented from writing their WAEC examinations in some parts of the Southeast following the stay at home order.
He said the stay at home have since been called off, wondering who was behind the new order which is being forcefully enforced around some of the states in the region.
