At exactly 11.20 am, the remains of the former Chief of Staff to the President Abba Kyari was laid to rest at the Gudu cemetery, Abuja, after prayers were said for the repose of his soul at the Defence House Guest House in Abuja.
His remains was flown to Abuja early in the day from Lagos and received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja.
Abba Kyari, whose death was announced late yesterday was brought to Abuja from Lagos were he breath his last early this morning.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on media and Publicity Malam Garba Shehu said the death of Kyari was a devastating blow to the President Muhammadu Buhari.
Abba Kyari’s remains was handled by officials of the National Centre for Disease Control, (NCDC).
