AbdulWahid Islamic Foundation facilitates free medical outreach for Ikosi-Keti residents

AbdulWahid Islamic Foundation (AIFO) in commemoration of her annual Ramadan series, has organised the 8th edition of free medical outreach, with emphasis on the importance of healthcare for the people of Ikosi-Ketu communities.

Secretary of the Foundation, Mr. AbdRazaq Aderibigbe hinted that the healthcare package included, free check of height and weight for BMI, blood pressure and sugar test as well as specialist consultation giving required prescriptions and drugs to people.

Elated by the healthcare opportunity afforded, the Chief Imam Zakariya Sadallah, Irewolede Jamaat Mosque, Ikosi International Market notes that the diagnosis were in order.

The cleric said: “We thank the organisers, providers and sponsors of this programme for the medical support, consultancy and drugs offered for free considering the fact that majority of the traders hardly go for medical check-ups but the diagnosis were in order. We are very grateful.”

In his comment, Imam Maruf Olawale, a highly placed cleric amongst the league of Imams in the communities lauded the organisers and sponsors of AIFO, Hon. Dayo Bush and Hon. Samuel Adebayo for their kind gesture towards ensuring better health status of the traders and community members.


He appealed that the programme be more frequent to afford other members of the community the benefits of medical outreach of this nature.
