Someone wrote, “If Adam’s sin is the cause of suffering till date, then the death of Jesus
Christ is rubbish”. Another person responded by saying, “Even the sins we all are
committing in this present generation pass Adam’s own. God suppose don wipe off this
generation but because of the price Jesus Christ paid already, His mercy prevails. So
easy de open your mouth water. You sef worse pass Adam”
These might sound funny but it’s not funny and I believe so many things are missing in
the understanding of the many of us due to some of the errors the majority of us had
been fed with over the years that we called the gospel “good news”. What is good news
in something that lies to us and denies us the right and access to what God had made
for us?
Let’s establish some facts.
Jesus Christ was not sent to the whole world. Jesus Christ was sent to the lost ships of
Israel. Jesus Christ made this clear in Matthew 15:24 saying, “I was sent only to the lost
sheep of the house of Israel.”
Now, the religious individuals will claim that they are spiritual Israel. This is one of the
errors in the church and among the Christians that makes the majority of us act
ignorantly. There is nothing like spiritual Israel or Spiritual citizenship. There is nothing
called citizens, tribes or nationalities in the spiritual realm just as there is nothing of the
same in the natural until the event that took place in Genesis 11:1-8 And the whole
earth was of one language and one speech.
And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land
of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And
they had brick for stone, and bitumen had them for mortar.
And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto
heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the
whole earth.
And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built.
And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this
they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have
imagined to do.
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand
one another’s speech.
So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and
they left off to build the city.
If God had not confused the language of the people and scattered them abroad all the
people in the world would have been speaking the same language and living the same
way of life, and all the economic evils and sabotage including the discrimination that
goes on in many countries around the world.
One of the worst evils that had happened to mankind was the event that took place in
Genesis 11 and I’m so certain that if God knew that the idea of confusing people’s
language would one day grow to destroy humanity and make some turn their fellow
human beings to slaves God wouldn’t have confused their language.
In the spiritual realm, there are no tribes or nationalities. Just as Jesus Christ said that
in resurrection there is no marriage or giving into marriage but everyone lives like
angels, Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in
marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
Let’s establish some facts that will help us to understand the place of God in our lives
and where we are standing in God.
Jesus Christ was not and was never sent to the whole world and Jesus Christ Himself
made it clear regarding the people He was sent to in Matthew 15:24 saying, I am not
sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. The lost sheep of Israel as a physical
nation not as a spiritual person.
Now, while God sent Jesus Christ to the lost sheep of Israel, Jesus Christ sent His
disciples into the world saying Go all of you into all the world, and preach the gospel to
every creature. He that believes and Is baptized shall be saved, but he that believes not
shall be damned. Mark 16:15-16
If Jesus Christ was sent to the lost sheep of Israel, that means His birth, death, burial
and resurrection are for the benefit of the children of Israel alone and not the entire
world. But that was not the case. When Jesus Christ was alive, His primary assignment
was to the children of Israel, but the moment He resurrected from the dead, the
narrative changed. His resurrection was not for the Israel citizens alone but for the
entire universe.
The majority of us know John 3:16 like the palms of our hands and quote the same like
no tomorrow. But the majority of us failed to pay attention to the fact that Jesus Christ or
God was not the one talking in John 3:16 and the spiritual interpretation of the verse is
even deeper than what we’ve been taught.
Let me break it down for us to understand. 3 is the number of divinity and 16 is the
number of principalities, powers and rulers of darkness.
The number sixteen Is often associated with new beginnings, transformation, and
spiritual growth. In numerology, sixteen is reduced to the number seven (1+6=7), which
is considered a highly spiritual number representing intuition, inner wisdom, and spiritual
awakening.
In many spiritual traditions, sixteen is seen as several spiritual rebirth and renewal. It is
a reminder that we have the power to create positive change in our lives and start fresh
on a new path. This number encourages us to trust our intuition, listen to our inner
guidance, and embrace the opportunities for growth and transformation that come our
way.
The spiritual meaning of sixteen is about embracing change, letting go of the past, and
stepping into a new chapter of spiritual evolution and enlightenment. It is a reminder that
we have the power to create our reality and manifest our highest potential.
Let’s break this down further. If we add the numbers together, 3 + 1 + 6 we’ll get 10.
The number three holds significant spiritual symbolism in many cultures and belief
systems. It is often associated with unity, harmony, balance, and the interconnectedness
of mind, body, and spirit. Here are some common spiritual meanings of the number
three:
- Trinity: In Christianity, the number three represents the Holy Trinity – the Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit. It symbolizes the unity of God in three distinct persons. - Mind, Body, Spirit: The number three is often seen as a symbol of the
interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. It represents balance and
harmony between these three aspects of the self. - Past, Present, Future: The number three can also symbolize the cycle of time –
past, present, and future. It reminds us to live in the present moment while
honouring our past and looking towards the future. - Creativity and Manifestation: Three is often associated with creativity, inspiration,
and manifestation. It is several growth and expansion, encouraging us to express
ourselves creatively and bring our ideas into reality. - Divine Protection: In many spiritual traditions, the number three is seen as a
symbol of divine protection and guidance. It is believed to bring blessings and
support from the spiritual realm.
The spiritual meaning of the three is about balance, unity, creativity, and divine
connection. It encourages us to embrace the interconnectedness of all things and to
align ourselves with the higher spiritual forces at work in the universe.
The number one Is often associated with unity, new beginnings, and individuality. In
spiritual terms, it can represent the oneness of all things and the interconnectedness of
the universe. It can also symbolize the idea of being whole and complete within oneself,
as well as the power of manifestation and creation. Additionally, the number one can
signify leadership, independence, and the ability to stand strong in one’s beliefs and
values. Ultimately, the spiritual meaning of the number one encourages us to embrace
our uniqueness and trust in our inner strength and potential.
In spiritual terms, the number six is often associated with harmony, balance, and love. It
is considered perfection and completeness, as it is the sum of its factors (1, 2, and 3)
and is also the product of its factors (2 and 3). The number six is seen as a symbol of
unity and connection, as it represents the coming together of opposites to create a
harmonious whole.
In many spiritual traditions, the number six is linked to the concept of love and
compassion, as it is believed to embody the qualities of nurturing, caring, and
selflessness. It is also associated with the idea of balance and equilibrium, encouraging
individuals to find harmony in all aspects of their lives – physical, emotional, mental, and
spiritual.
The spiritual meaning of the number six encourages us to cultivate love, balance, and
harmony in our relationships with ourselves, others, and the world around us. It reminds
us to strive for unity and wholeness in all that we do and to approach life with a sense of
compassion, understanding, and interconnectedness.
In spiritual terms, the number ten is often associated with completion, fulfilment, and
divine order. It is seen as a symbol of wholeness and perfection, as it represents the
combination of the divine masculine and feminine energies (1 and 0). The number ten is
also considered a powerful number in many spiritual traditions, as it signifies the end of
one cycle and the beginning of a new one.
The number ten is often linked to the idea of divine guidance and protection, as it is
believed to be several divine interventions and blessings. It is seen as a reminder that
we are supported and guided by higher forces in our journey towards spiritual growth
and enlightenment.
Additionally, the number ten is associated with the concept of manifestation and
abundance. It encourages individuals to focus on their intentions and goals, as well as
to trust in the universe to provide for their needs and desires. The spiritual meaning of
the number ten reminds us to stay positive, remain open to new opportunities, and trust
in the divine plan unfolding in our lives.
Now, in the spiritual, “0” is a no number, so, we eliminate “0” and we have “1” left. This
is the point when we become one with God and this is the point when Psalms 91 which
also has 16 verses automatically sets to work in our life.
The Psalms read, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain
stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my
Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him, I lean and rely, and in Him I trust! For He
will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and the deadly pestilence. He will cover you
with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His
faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night,
nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day, nor of the
pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise
and lay waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your
right hand, but it shall not come near you. Only a spectator shall you be as you witness
the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most
High your dwelling place, there shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come
near your tent. For He will give His angels charge over you to accompany and defend
and preserve you in all your ways. They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash
your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and
the serpent shall you trample underfoot. Because he has set his love upon Me,
therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands
My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will
deliver him and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation.”
Once we begin to operate on this level of being one with God, we are automatically
above everything in life including sin, death, poverty and everything that destroys
others. This simple fact was made clear in John 3:31 when John the Baptist said, “He
Who comes from above is above all; he who comes from the earth belongs to the earth
and talks the language of earth. He Who comes from heaven is above all others.”
The sin of Adam Is not what is affecting the world, what is affecting the world is their
ignorance. God never categorises Adam’s acts of curiosity as sin. It is we human beings
and the religious manipulators that categorise it as sin. If Adam and Eve had not eaten
the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil there is no way human beings would have
been knowledgeable about so many things today and some of the innovative products
and services we are enjoying today which came about as a result of innovative
thinkings, wouldn’t have been made possible for us all to enjoy.
Having knowledge of things and how they work or apply to us is not a sin. But the
application of the knowledge, most especially when and if it is based on selfish reasons
and a target to destroy others is what is evil and sin.
I’m very mindful of calling or tagging anything sin because, over the years, I’ve seen
that what to the ordinary eyes is evil turns out to be God’s plan for that moment. For
example, in the eyes of all, King David did what was evil by killing Uriah and marrying
his Wife. But God still permits King David to make the son of the same Woman to be
King after him. King Solomon was the first King in history to become a King without
God’s election or selection. Again, Judas was considered to be evil for betraying Jesus
Christ. But the truth is, without Judas’ betrayal, none of us wouldn’t have enjoyed the
salvation we’re enjoying today.
So, rather than judging every human acts and actions and tagging them as sins, first of
all, search for God behind their acts and actions.
Jesus Christ said in Matthew 12:31 “Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy
(every evil, abusive, injurious speaking, or indignity against sacred things) can be
forgiven men, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not and cannot be forgiven.”
Any Man Jesus Christ said not any Christian, but any Man. This means whether you are
a Christian, Muslim, Traditionalist, Hindu Animist or whatever religion you choose to
belong to, God has forgiven you of your sin ahead of time. Whatever sin you had
committed in the past, committing right now, will commit tomorrow or in years to come
are all forgiven you.
I leave you with Romans 6:14 “For sin shall not exert dominion over you, since now you
are not under Law, but under grace.
Recap
The concept of Adam’s sin and its impact on humanity is a complex theological topic.
Disagreements exist about the specific consequences and interpretations of scripture.
This article explores different perspectives on Adam and the role of Jesus Christ.
Original vs. Sent:
The statement “Jesus Christ was not sent to the whole world” is a point of debate. Some
believe Jesus’ primary mission was to the Israelites, while others interpret it differently.
Jesus did emphasize his initial focus on the “lost sheep of Israel” (Matthew 15:24), but
later instructed his disciples to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to every
creature” (Mark 16:15).
Spiritual vs. Literal:
The concept of “spiritual Israel” as distinct from a physical nation is another area of
discussion. While the Bible uses metaphorical language, some interpretations
emphasize a literal fulfillment of prophecies.
The Tower of Babel and Humanity’s Unity:
The event of scattered languages in Genesis 11:1-8 is seen by some as a punishment
for human ambition. However, others view it as a catalyst for diversification and cultural
development.
Focus on Interpretation:
Instead of presenting one view as absolute truth, the article could explore various
interpretations of scripture on Adam and Jesus. This allows readers to form their own
understanding based on the evidence presented.
Numerology:
The detailed numerological analysis (3, 16, 10) might be interesting to some, but it’s not
a core concept in mainstream Christianity.
Focus on Forgiveness:
The emphasis on God’s pre-emptive forgiveness aligns with the message of grace in
Romans 6:14. However, the statement that “any sin… are all forgiven you” may
downplay the importance of personal responsibility and repentance.
Conclusion:
The revised article acknowledges different perspectives on Adam and Jesus,
encouraging readers to explore the scriptures and form their own conclusions. It
maintains the core message of God’s forgiveness while acknowledging the complexity
of theological interpretations.
