Governor Ademola Adeleke on Tuesday, visited former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, to condole him over the death of his elder sister and rejoice with him on the new year celebration.
Accompanied by the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi; the House Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun; Secretary to the State Government, Hon Teslim Igbalaye; Senator Akogun Lere Oyewumi; Hon Sunday Bisi, the State Chairman of the PDP and state and party officials, Governor Adeleke prayed to God to grant the former governor and retired general, fortitude to bear the loss.
Prince Olagunsoye in his reaction said the death of his sister is shocking to him as she was his second mother from 1959 to her death in December.
According to him, she died in the arms of her son and family members, noting that he was comforted that she lived a fulfilled life.
“I thank you for this visit. I really appreciate your condolence visit”, Prince Oyinlola said.
