Ajadi’s Generosity Transforms Lives of 15 Families Begin Self-Reliant Mobile Phone Repair Journey

By Ibrahim Kegbegbe

In a remarkable display of generosity, a Chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Olufemi Ajadi, has transformed the lives of 15 families through Ajadi’s empowerment initiative, focused on mobile phone repair.

The initiative, which concluded with a grand finale on Sunday, 24th September, 2023, at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pinnacle of Glory Parish, Area 022, Lagos Province 35 (Apapa Family), has left a lasting impact on the community of Oremeji, Ibafo, Ogun State.

The two-week empowerment program, sponsored by Ambassador Ajadi, saw 50 participants benefiting from intensive training on mobile phone repair techniques. The highlight of the event was the distribution of mobile phone repairer’s tools to 15 families, each of which received a valuable set of equipment.

Representing Ambassador Ajadi at the event, Comrade Olowu Olayemi Omokehinde, the Publicity Secretary of the NNPP in Ogun State, conveyed a powerful message to the beneficiaries. He encouraged them to envision themselves as future entrepreneurs, highlighting that even the most successful mobile phone repairers at the renowned Computer Village in Ikeja once faced the challenge of acquiring their tools.

Omokehinde emphasized Ambassador Ajadi’s dedication to empowering Nigerian youths, describing it as a calling from God. He expressed heartfelt wishes for Ambassdor Ajadi’s prosperity and good health, enabling him to continue his humanitarian projects successfully.

Pastor Godswill Matthew Inyang, the minister of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pinnacle of Glory Parish, praised Ambassdor Ajadi’s role in empowering the beneficiaries. He noted that Ambassdor Ajadi had not only provided tools but also compensated the facilitator.

Pastor Inyang encouraged the recipients to make the most of the opportunity by supporting their church, families, and the broader community.

Speaking to the beneficiaries, Pastor Inyang assured them that all the necessary tools for their training were available, with the exception of a screen separator, which could be substituted by the blower. He also shared that the tools distributed were worth approximately 700,000 Naira and invoked a prayer for their continued success and the ability to support their families and others.

One of the beneficiaries, Stephen Akpan, expressed gratitude to Ambassador Ajadi for teaching them how to become self-reliant rather than merely providing temporary assistance. He extended blessings and well wishes to Ajadi and his family.

Another beneficiary, Mr. Godsway Nyatuame, acknowledged that the program was introduced to him through a church member. He lauded Ambassador Ajadi for not only instructing them in mobile phone repair but also guiding them on acquiring the necessary tools and accessories in the market.

The presentation of the tools to each beneficiary was a moment of joy and hope for the future. Mrs. Oyindamola Motunrola Ajadi, the wife of the benefactor, and Ajadi’s representative, Olowu Olayemi Omokehinde, personally handed over the equipment to the families in attendance.

The facilitator of the program who is also the CEO of Hasbunallah Communication Ventures, Abdul Akeem Yusuf, was grateful for the successful program and wishes all the students success.
