Ajadi’s philanthropic and political astuteness win Lagos Boy’s and Girl’s Brigade Awards

A colourful and prestigious ceremony was put up at the Diocese of Lagos West, Our Saviour’s Anglican Church, today Sunday, November 29, 3023, in honour and decoration of Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo.

A collaboration of the Boy’s and Girl’s Brigade, Nigeria, Lagos State Council, in collaboration with the 4th & 10th Shomolu Companies, it bestowed a Meritorious Award and Certificate of Recognition upon Ajadi, who is not just a steadily rising and principled politician, but a foremost philanthropist in the country.

The event, was indeed a befitting way to recognise Ambassador Ajadi’s unwavering support for the organisation and the good of humanity.

It acknowledges also Ambassador Ajadi’s outstanding commitment towards advancing Christ’s Kingdom among boys and girls.

The inscriptions read, “In recognition of your generosity and support to the growth and development of the company,” and “In recognition of his outstanding commitment to the development of humanity and towards the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom,” underscore the impact of his philanthropic endeavors.

A key member of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and a prominent figure in Nigerian politics, Ambassador Ajadi emphasized his ongoing commitment to the Boy’s and Girl’s Brigade during the ceremony.

He assured the brigade of his continuous support, affirming his belief in the organistion’s mission.

During his address to the brigade, Ajadi urged members to carry themselves in a manner that reflects positively on their church. He emphasized the importance of obedience, reverence, discipline, and self-respect, instilling values that align with true Christian manliness.

He also encouraged the young brigade members to be vigilant, seek parental advice, and maintain their services to the Lord.

Among the notable figures that accompanied Ambassador Ajadi were the SouthWest Public Relations Officer (PRO) for NNPP, Hon. Kilamuwaye Badmus; PRO NNPP Ogun State, Comrade Olowu Olayemi Omokehinde; Comrade Awoeyo Olugbenga Olaitan; Hon. Teluwo Kehinde; Hon. Fatai Adenaya,; Comrade Ibrahim Shuab, and Comrade Emmanuel Omofouman.

In his remarks, the incoming Captain of the Boy’s Brigade, Mr. Olukunle Adeagbo, expressed his unwavering dedication to the path of the Lord.

He affirmed that the opportunity given to him is a calling to serve, vowing not to deviate from his commitment.

The event also marked the transition from Chief Olusoji Osidipe as the outgoing Boy’s Brigade Captain to Mr. Olukunle Adeagbo as the incoming Boy’s Brigade Captain. Mrs. Omolara A. Adesuyi was introduced as the incoming Girl’s Brigade Captain, signaling a new era of leadership within the esteemed organisation.
