Adebiyi, currently a student in Senior Secondary School Class 3 (SS3) at Olivet Baptist High School, Ilora, Oyo State, became the focal point of the celebration.

Adding an international flair to the occasion, Alhaji Ademola A.J Otolowo, a distinguished UK-based music promotion executive, collaborated with the diaspora community of Iwo Land. This collective effort aimed to honor the esteemed Oluwo of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi (Telu 1).

The vibrant event unfolded at the Oluwo Stadium in Iwo, Osun State, on December 16, 2023, graced by Otolowo, renowned for impactful contributions to entertainment ventures in the United Kingdom, and Ajadi, the musically inclined CEO of Bullion Records Label in Nigeria.

During the celebration, the young artistic sensation, Adebiyi, mesmerized attendees by showcasing his ability to craft lifelike images using various drawing materials. Captivated by Adebiyi’s skill, Ajadi extended an invitation for a personalized artistic session, requesting the talented youngster to draw his portrait alongside the CEO of 100% Entertainment UK, Alhaji Ademola A.J Otolowo.

Ajadi further pledged increased financial assistance to Adebiyi, recognizing him as an aspiring artist with dreams of establishing himself professionally in the art world.

Encouraging a holistic approach, Ajadi emphasized the pivotal role of education in shaping Adebiyi’s artistic journey, underscoring its significance in setting him apart from his peers.

“Make sure you pass all your subjects in your WAEC examination at first seat, because you will not remain the same next year by God’s grace,” Ajadi advised, blending mentorship with encouragement.

Acknowledging the broader struggle faced by numerous Nigerians striving to showcase their artistic abilities, Otolowo affirmed his and Ajadi’s commitment to nurturing individuals whose artistic prowess deserves recognition.

The duo stands ready to champion the dreams of those, like Adebiyi, who seek a platform for their talents, creating a beacon of hope for the artistic community.

In an interview with our correspondent, Adebiyi shared insights into his craft, detailing the myriad of drawing materials that are necessary for any artist, such as charcoal, ink, pastels, markers, colored pencils, watercolors, and acrylics.

“The diverse selection of mediums allows artists to capture the essence of the subjects with unique textures and effects,” he explained.

True to his promise, Adebiyi rose to the artistic challenge, presenting exquisite drawings of Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi and Alhaji Ademola A.J Otolowo after hours of dedicated work.
