…tasks new party Chairman ahead of council polls
A Labour Party councillorship aspirant for Ward A1 in Amuwo Odofin LGA Mr. Kennedy Olikagu has described the appointment of Chief Sunnex Ohonazoeze as Elder representing Amuwo Odofin in the Lagos State Labour Party Elders-in-Council, and the emergence of Hon Obinna Emefoh as the new party chairman for Amuwo Odofin LGA as a development that will breed good political fortunes for the party.
In a congratulatory statement issued by KENNEDY OLIKAGU CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION (KOCO), Olikagu lauded the unmatched attainments of the revered leader- Chief Ohonazoeze, adding that he is the right man for the job.
“Chief Ohonazoeze has over time invested his experience, time and resources in not only the victories for the Labour Party in Amuwo Odofin but also building the strength of the party.
“He has also consistently demonstrated a unique and dexterous leadership that has been to the benefit of our great party in Amuwo Odofin.
“Hence, he deserves the appointment so that he can heighten his commitment towards ensuring the Labour Party wins the forthcoming Local Government elections in Amuwo Odofin LGA and Oriade LCDA.”
Olikagu also congratulates the new party Chairman in Amuwo Odofin LGA Hon Obinna Emefoh, while counselling him that the Labour Party’s victory at the coming council polls is assured, with thorough reconciliation and good collaboration with leaders of the party.
“Hon Obinna Emefoh ascension to the Chairmanship seat of our great party in Amuwo Odofin LGA is divine and timely.
“I am congratulating him in anticipation of the several successes that will be recorded under his leadership.
“But, I will like to appeal to him to ensure that genuine reconciliation cascades all through the wards of our party. This will help us to face the Local Government Elections as an indivisible family.
“Hon. Emefoh should likewise liaise closely with our leaders, Hon George Adegeye Olawande (Omogeye) and Hon Stella Foluke Osafile respectively.
“All these efforts are geared towards the interest of our party. The victory in the forthcoming Local Government Elections are too glaring and we need to consolidate our efforts and potential to take over the Amuwo Odofin Council Secretariat in 2025.
“I remain passionately committed to work with the Leadership of the party in birthing fresh initiatives for the collective wellbeing of the good people of Ward A1 in Amuwo Odofin LGA.
