Anglican Church awards best 2021 UTME candidate scholarship

The Archbishop of the Ecclesiastical Province of Lagos and the Diocesan and Missioner, Lagos Diocese, The Most Revd. Dr. Humphrey Bamisebi Olumakaiye on Monday, received in his office, Chibuzor Chibuikem Monwuba, who emerged as the highest scorer and the best candidate in the nation’s 2021 JAMB examination.

Chibuzor Chibuikem Monwuba, who was born into the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, scored 358 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), becoming the nation’s best overall candidate this year.

He was accompanied to the Archbishop’s office by his mother, Mrs. Ngozi Monwuba and his Vicar at Church of Ascension, Badore, Lagos, The Venerable Philip Akinwande.

In his habitual manner of encouraging flourishing youths, the Archbishop has promised Chibuzor a full scholarship for his undergraduate study provided he picks Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, as his choice institution.
