A Lagos State lawmaker, representing Kosofe Constituency 2 at the House of Assembly, Hon Femi Saheed, flagged off his re-election campaign, in preparation for the 2023 general elections at the Mechanic Compound, by White House Bus Stop, Agiliti-Mile 12, Lagos.
Addressing the mammoth crowd at the campaign, APC stakeholders in Kosofe, Agboyi-Ketu, and supporters, Saheed stressed that lawmaking is act of service to the people and I have served meritoriously in the house in less than two years of taking over the position after the death of Braimoh.
He said l promised to serve as the impactful representative of my people in a manner that inspires and propel them towards prosperity, healthy and good living and strengthens their belief in the Nigeria project.”
He highlighted some of his achievements to include sponsorship of motions for the approval of Agboyi Link Brigde, Ajelogo Mini stadium and Magodo-Agiliti link road, distribution of cash grants business support fund to over 600 deserving constituents, distribution of 400 writing furniture to public schools in the Constituency, donation of two transit buses for free student ride, among others
“I humbly submit that with my level of educational attainment and professional record in the banking sector and my proposed people-oriented statements of intent, I stand head and shoulders above other candidates seeking to represent the good people of Kosofe.”
“I urge you to invest your votes in me and I will not disappoint you,” Saheed said.
The flag off was attended by hundreds of his supporters in Kosofe area in Lagos. Christians, Muslims, industry players, traders and members of National Union of Road Transport Workers were all in attendance.
