Politicians have been counseled not to bring judicial institutions into unnecessary circus,by attempting to taint the image of Justice Bode Rhodes- Vivour.
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour a Peoples Democratic Party senatorial candidate in the recently held 2019 general elections,made the disclosure in a statement,where he said unequivocally that he is not Justice Bode Rhodes- Vivour’s son as been bandied around by uninformed members of the All Progressives Congress APC.
According to him he was born into the family of Barrister Olawale and Nkechi Rhodes Vivour 36 years ago in Ikeja,Lagos.
The state
read in part, “my attention has been drawn to a false and misguided
narrative being peddled by uninformed members of the APC aimed at discrediting
Justice Bode Rhodes Vivour.
“It is therefore imperative to set the records straight. I was born into
the family of Barrister Olawale and Nkechi Rhodes Vivour 36 years ago in Ikeja,
Lagos.
“The
renowned jurist of 25 years, Justice Bode Rhodes- Vivour is therefore not my
biological father and a simple search on google could easily have saved the
ruling party from such an ignominy.
“The Judges of the supreme court have hitherto exhibited moral fortitude
in the dispensation of Justice and politicians must refrain from drawing
judicial institutions into an unnecessary circus.
