The All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended the unveiling of its Vice Presidential candidate Sen. Kashim Shettima, indefinitely.
The APC, had slated the official unveiling of the candidate whose name was announced on Sunday, July 10, 2022 by the Presidential flag bearer of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu by 2pm today.
There has been a huge wave of opposition against the Muslim/Muslim ticket which is perceived to the another example of the party’s insensitivity to the tendencies in the country.
The party did not however disclose when it would formally unveil the Vice Presidential candidate.
Sunrise News gathered that the party may have decided to postpone the official announcement to douse the growing opposition to the Muslim/Muslim ticket of the ruling party.
