I remember today the Yoruba fable of how to make the Elephant the king of the forest. With the sole purpose to humiliate and kill the poor animal. Because of his size. The only way to get the Elephant was to tell him ” EMILOKAN”. The poor massive creature fell for it. He sat on the throne that was in actual fact, a trap. It was a huge hole that took months in digging. Then the elaborate preparation of making it look like a throne. The Elephant fell for the fake love and because of his own greedy ambition sat on the throne. He fell into the pit. The other animals sieze this rear opportunity of his vulnerability. They brought out all kinds of weapons. Attacked him. And succesfully overpowered and killed the biggest animal in the jungle. Because we live in an age where we do not pass on our culture. Many on this thread will think I am making this up. But I am sincerely not. It is actually the song that came with this fable, that is the reason for my usual rubbish. To quote the people that claim to love APC’s Presidential candidate Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The song done in my terrible voice goes thus: we will make the Elephant the King of the forest. Eweku ewele. We will make the Elephant the King of the forest. Eweku ewele………He will be his royal majesty. Eweku ewele…….
BLA BLU BAB LA BULA………Why in the name of God and everything holy are we doing this to this man? The World is watching, and they can see the humiliation to put the Elephant on the throne in order to kill and destroy the massive creature. The Yoruba adage says the people that love you will call your neurosis mild cold. But the outside world will see it for what it truly is: MADNESS!!! Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not well……OOOOPPSS……Let me put it in a decent way. The JAGABAN is not of sound health. Baba is not well. Watch it, he is now like a dog on a leech tetterethed to the strings of so called intellectuals in his campaign team. Even Stevie Wonder can see that. Watch the face and body language of his Vice President of choice, Shettima Kashim the next time you see them together. He is always expecting something to go wrong. And indeed, something always goes wrong. Tinubu has been restricted from speaking extempore. He always has a prepared speech. Even in the so-called Town Hall meetings. Still, he cannot help himself. Can someone explain to me why he said what he said? Is there anyone here that speaks GREEK? Or how a healthy human being will go off scripts, just like that. He was sold to us because of his brain. The uniqueness of it. The accounting genius that occupies the entire cerebral oblangata. But when that brain is telling us bla blu blu bla ba da……. balderdash. God is trying to tell us something through the Ashiwaju. We have fathers. Are we okay to treat them with this ignominy?
