The curtain fell on two housemates of the Big Brother Naija Season six, tagged Shine Ya Eyes bringing their participation in the game to an abrupt end on Sunday.
The two housemates – Arinola Olowoporoku, popularly known in the house as Arin and Francis Princess known as Princess, became the fourth and fifth housemates to be evicted by Big Brother following the votings from viewers of the 2021 BBNaija reality TV Show.
Their eviction reduced the number of the housemates this season to 21.
SUNRISE NEWS reports that the eviction was hosted as usual by the media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Arin, Emanuel, Nini, Princess, Saskay and Tega were within the week nominated for eviction.
Three housemates were on August 8, evicted and four new ones introduced.
Immediately Arin was evicted, she told the organisers that she would now focus on her fashion brand, host more art shows as well as engage in some collaborations.
The 27-year-old fashion designer from Lagos State who described herself as a huge fan of the show before her invitation by Big Brother said, “I know I am very outspoken but could not change it even if I tried”.
SUNRISE NEWS reports that it had been three weeks of fun, tasks, parties and bit of romance.
Various groups and individuals have been calling for the suspension of the show, arguing that the actions of the housemates do not portray the nation’s right moral values.
But winner of the show stands to go home with N90 million rewards in both cash and other rewards.
