Six housemates were on Sunday nominated by the Head of House (HOH) Maria for eviction from the Big Brother Naija #ShineYaEyes Season 6.
Head of House, Maria, was instructed after emerging victorious in the Head of House Games on Monday, to make all 22 housemates believe the nomination for the week rests on her shoulders. She was to tell them she would nominate the housemates that may be up for eviction.
According to the directives from Big Brother, those to be up for eviction were those who least pleased the Head of House.
By midweek, Big Brother threw another twist into the building drama when he directed that the Head of House increase those up for eviction to six, out of which two or three may be picked by Big Brother. The final list of nominees for eviction was to be made known by the HOH by Sunday morning. Big Brother also gave the HOH writing materials to enable her score each of the housemates, with appeal to the HOH not to turn the housemates to her slaves in their attempts to please her.
Announcing her preferred nominees on Sunday shortly after leaving the saloon, the Head of House announced her list of six housemates she preferred to leave the Big Brother House.
Maria who was seen crying when announcing the names to make the nominations real called out the names of Angel, Pere, JMK, Yousef, JayPaul and Emmanuel for possible eviction.
She also urged them to begin to pack their bags from the house as Big Brother would not be giving any of them any other notice to do this.
The eviction list caused not a small ripple in the house as many were seen in groups discussing the list.
Lucky housemates whose names were not on the list wondered how six people would be evicted by Big Brother, with some of them already seeing through the boogie as a fake eviction.
But going by the theme of this year’s theme Shine Ya Eyes, some felt it might be another twist to make the house heated up. Those who held the believe claimed Big Brother might have released the list to the audience to aid their voting or perhaps there may be no opportunity for audience participation in this week’s eviction.
The audience are upbeat to see how the housemates would react to Maria’s pranks when they realised that the eviction was a mere mind game afterall and that all of them had escaped nomination and have the grace to enjoy just one more week in Big Brother House.
