Be obedient to God’s commandments: LG Chief urges Christian faithful

Christian adherents have been implored to always shun sins and disobedient behavior to God’s commandments to enable them enjoy the promises of redemption and salvation which Jesus Christ has purchased for the beloved with his precious blood when he laid down his life on the cross.

Making the admonition on Sunday, November 4,2018, at the launch and dedication service of Trinity Cherubim and Seraphim House of Worship (Agbo Jesu), 11, Jimoh Yusuf Street, Ndike, Obawole, the Chairman, Ifako-Ijaiye LG area of Lagos State, Senior Special Apostle(Dr) Oloruntoba Oke, praised the Elder-in-charge/ Spiritual Head, (Nigeria & Overseas), Most Special Apostle (Dr) Samuel Mustapha, for heeding the call of God to allow the property to serve as the Lord’s sanctuary, noting that “anyone who abides in God would live to bear more fruits, and, that, dire consequences await erring people as enunciated in the book of John 15:5″ he concluded.

While dwelling on the sermon titled ” I Will Redeem It” Ruth 4:1-11, the council boss said true redemption and salvation can only be achieved when one repents of his sins and vows to always keep His commandments, whatever the circumstance.

Highpoint of the event was a thanksgiving service to mark the birthday of the wife of the council chief, Pastor (Mrs) Modupe Oke, which fell due on that Sunday.

Among personalities that attended the event include: the Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, Chief Shola Ajibose, SA Market & Revenue, Hon. Olalekan Kujembola; Barrister Idowu Adeduro; Prince Suraj Ogundipe; Prophet Emmanuel Opoola.
