Popular Nigerian Pastor, Idowu Bankole has urged President Bola Tinubu to imitate his America counterpart, and not seek re-election in 2027.
He stated that it is in the best interest of Nigeria and Nigerians for President Tinubu to step aside and conduct a free and fair election that will usher in new leadership for the country.
In a tweet, Bankole wrote: “Like President Biden, Nigerian President, Tinubu shouldn’t seek reelection in 2027. In the best interest of Nigeria and Nigerians, he should please step aside and conduct a free and fair election that will usher in new leadership for the country.
“The prevailing hunger, untold hardship and style of leadership are what Nigerians don’t want to experience in 2027. I know you meant well for us but please, Mr President Sir, focus on governance and forget scheming for reelection in 2027.”
