The biggest reality show on the African continent Big Brother Naija Season 6 eventually opened on Saturday with Big Brother opening his house to 11 male finalists in the keenly contested competition the auditioning of which started earlier in the year.
The theme for the Big Brother Season 6 is Shine ya eye.
Boma became the first to be ushered into the house. Other housemates that would compete for the N90 million prize title for the eventual winners are Niyi, WhiteMoney, Saga and Yousef.
Others are; Sammie, Cross, Emmanuel, Pere, Yerins and JayPaul
This year’s Big Brother’s main sponsor is abeg, a payment settlement app, and a co-sponsor Patricia, a cryptocurrency platform.
Six of the present housemates have contested in previous seasons, while five are in the competition for the first time.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu who ushered all the housemates into the Big Brother House however kept everyone guessing until late into the show when he disclosed that the women would be joining their male colleagues in the House on Sunday.
It was the first time that the Big Brother would be holding the House Opening event which flags off the show for two days.
The ‘boys’ however enjoyed their first time together, first at the executive lounge before having a session together where they shared their profiles and their accomplishments before coming to the Big Brother House.
The show which would run for three months on channel 198 until the curtain would be drawn on October 3, 2021
