Wife of Nigeria’s President Mrs Aisha Buhari has extended an invitation to all members of her husband’s cabinet to an Ifta dinner at the Presidential Villa on Saturday.
Also expected at the dinner are presidential aspirants of all the political parties in the country.
All invitees, including the presidential aspirants are expected to come to the dinner with their invitation cards. All invitees, including the presidential aspirants are barred from coming to the dinner with their phones.
It is not too clear in what capacity the wife of the President who is also Nigeria’s First Lady is hosting the dinner.
It is also not clear if the Vice President of Nigeria, who has expressed interest in giving the office a shot, as well as the party’s leading chieftain Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who has been going around the country on consultation, would be in attendance.
Sunrise News recalls that the wife of the President has in the recent times been hosting critical segments of the society to Iftar dinner.
Among those Mrs Buhari has hosted in recent time are the wife of the Vice President, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, who she hosted along with senior officials of her office and associates, members of the National Assembly and some women leaders.
