A former Governor of Oyo State Chief Adebayo Alao Akala has died.
Akala reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday according to sources.
Akala was the Governor of Oyo State between 2007 and 2011.
There was no official statement as at the time of filing this report.
Born on June 3, 1950, at Ogbomoso in the Ogbomoso North Local Government Area of Oyo State, Alao-Akala had his elementary school at Osupa Baptist Day School, Ogbomoso before proceeding to Kamina Barracks Middle School, 5th Battalion of Infantry in Tamale, Ghana.
