Effective from 12am,13th of January,2022, President Muhammad Buhari has directed the ban placed on micro-blogging app,Twitter,be lifted.
The decision was announced by the Chairman Technical Committee Nigeria-Twitter Engagement and Director-General National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, CCIE.
The twitter ban is to be lifted after Twitter agreed with all conditions set by the Federal Government.
The conditions include;
Opening an office in Nigeria, have a country representative, Payment of fair taxes among others.
