A former lawmaker under the Alliance for Democracy (AD) and Afenifere chieftain, Senator Olabiyi Durojaiye is dead.
He was former Chairman of the Board of Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
Olabiyi Durojaiye was elected Senator for the Ogun East constituency of Ogun State in 1999 under the Alliance for Democracy (AD).
Family sources said the former NCC Chairman, Durojaiye, died in the early hours of Tuesday in Lagos State after a brief illness for which he was receiving treatment.
Born in 1933 in Ogun, Durojaiye earned a BSc (Economics) London, and an LLB, London.
Durojaiye was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1979 and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
