Arraigned at the Federal High Court, Abuja for Treasonable Felony
The Leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has been arrested and extradited to Nigeria.
The controversial IPOB leader who has been on the run since 2018 was extradited to Nigeria on Sunday, the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami revealed to Justice.
Right now, Kanu is being arraigned at the Federal High Court, Abuja, on charges of Treasonable Felony, terrorism, managing illegal association, inciting violence via radio and television against the Nigerian state and running of a cartel of firearms and to answer to years of masterminding insurrections of peoples of SouthEast Nigeria in his determination to bring back the independent state of Biafra.
Nnamdi Kanu was born on 25th of September 1967.
