Nigeria’s President has read the riot act to the nation’s security agencies, especially the Nigerian Armed Forces to wipe out all terrorists and bandits operating in the country with immediate effect.
President Buhari gave the charge on Thursday during the passing out ceremony of Regular Course 43 of the Nigerian Defence Academy, in Kaduna.
He said the Nigerian Armed Forces must wipe out these criminals within the shortest possible time to restore the hope and confidence of the people in the capacity of the government to protect lives and property.
He also ordered that the masterminds of the Kuje Prison attacks must be fished out to serve as deterrent to evil doers that the government is determined to restore law and order in the country.
He said he is determined to leave the country safer than he met it and urged all members of the Nigerian Armed Forces to put in their best in arresting the slide.
