An officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA), Mr Godwin Obasu was on Tuesday hacked to death by a commercial bus driver.
The incident occurred at Anthony Village area of Lagos State.
The General Manager, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Olajide Oduyoye, who disclosed this to newsmen said the deceased along with his colleague, Hakeem Adeniyi were attacked by an operator of a Suzuki commercial bus otherwise known as Korope.
He said Obasu was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Oduyoye said the assailant would be prosecuted.
