SUNRISE NEWS, Lagos, Aug 20, 2020 As the race to fill the vacant seat at the Lagos Assembly hots up,stakeholders in the Kosofe constituency II polity have signal their enthusiasm for the eventual move of Honourable Samuel Olanrewaju Adebayo, who picked up the nomination form at the All Progressives Congress party secretariat on Wednesday,19th August,2020.
Adebayo who according to them has identified with the grassroots far more than any of the other aspirants in time past, “knows where the shoe pinches and will deliver quality representation at the state legislature.
A young and vibrant community leader in Agboyi Ketu,Mr Abdulwaheed who spoke with newsmen after the aspirant picked the form said that, “At the end of the tunnel, certainly there is a new ray of light. It is indeed true that when lies travel for several years, the truth overtakes it in a second.
Who could have thought, this could come back to us after all hopes seem lost?We the inhabitants of Kosofe constituency 2 are very glad that at the end of it all.
“God is bringing the people’s choice, the hope of the needy, the epitome of good governance and the choice of us all to us once again.
We gladly received the news that Honourable Samuel Olanrewaju Adebayo (SOA) eventually picked the nomination form.
“We had actually thought, the stress and threatening ordeals, he had during the 2019 election would prevent him from championing the Noble course but we marvel at his courage and identify with the love he has for the masses.
By his agreement and action to champion the course of good representation, it indeed affirms the witty saying that the son of the lion will never degenerates to a mere pussy!
We sincerely appreciate his gesture and are ready to give every support needed to make this opportunity a reality.
“We supported him once, and are ready to do that again for a man who always identify with the needs of the people comes rain or sunshine. *SOA*, is certainly the man who can bring the needed good representation we have been yearning for all this while.SOA is our own!”.
Adebayo picked his nomination in the presence of the party’s Chairman Mr Tunde Balogun and the secretary Hon.Lanre Ogunyemi.
Speaking shortly after picking up the form, Adebayo hinted that he had to heed the call of his people with whom he shared affinity because many indigents,who could barely fend for their basic needs makes him feel the urge to serve very much.
“Prior to the time I vy for this seat alongside the late Braimoh in 2019,I have connected with my people in diverse ways and they know me too well as it pertains selflessness.
“By the special grace of God I have been a progressive ever since and will continue to champion their course at any point in time.
