CAC appoints Mike Premium ambassador

Talent and brand manager, Micheal Nwabufo, popularly known as Mike Premium, has been appointed as an ambassador for the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

Nwabufo in a statement on Saturday in Lagos, said that the appointment followed a closed-door meeting  with the  Registrar-General/CEO of CAC, Hussaini Magaji, SAN on Friday at CAC Headquarters in Abuja.

He said that the meeting was also attended by Tokoni Peter Igoin, the Special Assistant to the President on ICT Development and Digital Innovation, alongside other stakeholders.

Nwabufo said that he was officially unveiled as an ambassador  to advocate for the interests of Nigerian youths and to emphasise the need for  business formalisation for the benefits of Nigeria’s teaming youths.

Expressing gratitude for the endorsement, Nwabufo applauded  registrar-general and the presidential aide for considering him worthy of the appointment.

“I am  committed to working towards the shared objectives of the Commission concerning Nigerian youths and businesses.

“This appointment marks another significant achievement for me.

“The recognition as a leading advocate for the welfare of Nigerian youths across social, entertainment, and political spheres is commendable,” he said.

Nwabufo said he however urged the commission to streamline registration procedures to facilitate this.

According to him, various dignitaries at the event also expressed their eagerness to collaborate with the Commission on mutually beneficial programmes.

Nwabufo said that Magaji, in his remarks, highlighted the benefits of CAC registration, which included name protection and access to government grants and loans for creative Nigerian youths amongst others.

He said that the CAC boss  encouraged adherence to Section 863 of the Companies and Allied Matters Act, CAMA 2020, and promised to offer assistance to  individuals or groups who intend to carry out bulk registration at reduced rate cost.

Nwabufo added that Magaji pledged support to Mike Premium while also asking him (Nwabufor) to use  his position and influence to advance the Commission’s goals and support Nigerian youths.
