Christmas: Adewale Temitope donates bags of rice, cows, rams, turkeys, cash gifts, others to constituents

Hon. Adewale Temitope Adedeji, OON, a member representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 0I at the Lagos State House of Assembly, has once again demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of his constituents by distributing an array of festive gifts for the Christmas celebration.

The gesture, which has become an annual tradition, is aimed at ensuring that constituents are not left out of the festive joy, particularly during this season of giving.

The lawmaker donated over 400 bags of rice, 16 cows, turkeys, rams, over 80 cartons of vegetable oil, and cash gifts to leaders, members, and residents of his constituency.

In appreciation of their support, he gave cash gifts of N1 million each to the seven wards, one cow to each ward, and five bags of rice each across the seven wards, among other items.

The usual benevolence didn’t leave out beneficiaries such as the Ifako-Ijaiye CDC, the Christian Association of Nigeria (Ifako-Ijaiye), all current and former LG executives, all former and present councillors, delegates, party executives from wards to LG, and members.

A sum of N1 million was also given to traditional institutions, while LASCOTA, NATA (Obawole and Ifako-Ijaiye), security agents (LNSC, DSS, Red House), Igbo traders, party groups, PWDs, among others, were also part of the largesse.

In his Christmas message, Hon. Adewale Temitope emphasised the importance of showing love and care during the period. “Christmas is a time to share, to spread love, and to uplift one another. This is my little way of ensuring that families in our community can celebrate with happiness and abundance,” he said.

He wished the good people of Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency I a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year ahead while urging them to continue to remain peaceful and law-abiding.
