Cleric urges support for government on educational development

The Planter of Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C), Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, Prophet Sam Olu Alo has called on Nigerians to join hands with government in developing education in the country

Olu-;Alo spoke while donating state of the art blocks of classrooms to Temidire Community High School, Temidire Ekiti and St. Benedict’s Catholic Nur/Pry School Ido Ekiti.

He said the motivation to make the donation was borne out of resolve to impact lives as well as his covenant with God to be blessing to people..

“In all the  developed countries have been to” 70 percent of the schools there up to university level are owned by churches before they were taken over by government while the facilities there make studying and learning attractive to the children which informed my building and donating the state of the art block of classrooms to the schools.

“Government alone cannot do everything for us. Whether good or bad , there are government responsibilities and citizens have theirs too’ he said.

Olu-Alo expressed happiness that  there is free education for Children in his state from primary one  to SS2 which would  help parents to send their children to school as he called on old students too home and abroad blessed by God to support their alma mater.

Olu-Alo also donated a big Hall to his community, Ido Ekiti in memory of his father Pa Joseph Omowaye Alo, while he also promised to establish a Care home for Widows and the less privileged in Ido-Ekiti.

Olu-Alo who disclosed this during a visit to the palace of Olojudo of Ido Ekiti, Oba Ayorinde Ilori-Faboro as burial rites for his late father commenced, said the widows would enjoy therapy, medical checkups, free food and other forms of care where necessary.

Onikun of Temidire Ekiti Oba Moses Fabusuyi thanked prophet Olu-Alo for donating the blocks of classrooms to the schools in their communities.

The Chairmen of Ijero and Ido-Osi local government areas, representatives of SUBEB, NUT, Principal, Head teacher of the schools, youths, and leaders of the benefitting communities also appreciated the cleric for his good gesture while the  youth of Temidire Ekiti  presented award of recognition to Alo.

Similar award of excellence was presented to him by the staff, parents and pupils of Benedict’s Nur/Pry School Ido Ekiti for his contribution to the development of education in Ekiti state and Nigeria at large.

Prophet Olu-Alo also promised to donate sets of computers and sink motorized bore-holes to both schools.
