Council chair receives Sanwo-Olu’s car gift recipient

Gives her N .1m in appreciation of her hard work

For being one of the twelve teachers in Lagos State that received brand new cars and other gifts from Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, last week, during the Year 2020 Teachers Merit Award Ceremony, the Head Teacher of Amuwo-Odofin Nursery and Primary School, in Mile 2, Mrs Oyinloye Rebecca has been rewarded with the sum of N100,000 by the Chairman of Oriade Local Council Development Area, Hon. Mrs. Ramotalai Akinlola Hassan.

Hon Hassan presented the cash gift to Mrs Oyinlola on Wednesday at the council secretariat, when the award winning teacher paid a courtesy visit to the chairman, to present the car gift to her.

The council chairman, who was elated to receive Mrs Oyinloye in her office, stated that the teacher has made Oriade LCDA proud with her achievement as one of the twelve outstanding teachers and school administrators in Lagos state, adding that she is a good ambassador of Oriade LCDA.

Hon Hassan, while appreciating the Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for fulfilling his promise to reward excellence and hard work in the teaching profession, urged other teachers in the council area to take a cue from Mrs Oyinloye’s success story and excel in the teaching profession.

The chairman in company of the council’s Vice Chairman, Badmus Olarenwaju and the Council Manager,Mr Akitoye Babatunde later inspected the brand new car and also prayed for Mrs Oyinloye.
