SUNRISE NEWS, Lagos, July 23, 2020 Lagos Statae Commissioner for Health Prof. Akin Abayomi has said that COVID-19 cases are likely to peak in the state in the month of August.
Abayomi made this known during a press briefing at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre in Alausa.
He said; “Based on postulations, COVID-19 cases are likely to peak next month; we are hoping it peaks soon and the curve eventually gets flattened.”
He assured Lagosians that the government is ready to protect the lives of all residents, even as he urged every persons to take responsibility to protect their lives by observing all safety protocols to stay away from the pandemic.
