- Thumbs up the agency’s role in stabilising public order in Lagos

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Ishola Olanrewaju Olawale, today, paid a surprise working visit to the Bolade, Oshodi, Safety Arena, office of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit (Taskforce), Chairman, CSP Akerele Adetayo.
Addressing the taskforce Chairman, his team of Senior Police Officers and top Management Staff heading administrative departments of the agency, CP Ishola, described the taskforce as a key player amongst others, in the dedicated efforts of the command, to strengthen safety and security of the citizenry as well as the sustenance of public order in the state.
Speaking further, the Police chief, commended the Taskforce under CSP Akerele for the good work it is doing, while, urging the entire workforce to always maintain a high level of physical and medical wellness, maintaining that, sound health status was a key ingredient needed to perform optimally.
Thanking CP Ishola Olanrewaju Olawale for the visit to the agency, CSP Akerele stated that, it was indeed historic and the positive appraisal received from his boss, will serve as the impetus to elicit more commitment and quality service delivery from the Taskforce team, in line with enabling laws guiding the functions of the agency under his stewardship going forward.
To formally appreciate the visit, CSP Akerele presented a complementary plaque to CP Ishola, an initiative introduced by the Taskforce helmsman, toward strengthening the spirit of camaraderie and synergy within and among relevant agencies and institutions.
