The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, his senior brother and founder of Adeleke University (AU) Dr Deji Adeleke and his sister Yeye Modupe Adeleke-Sanni, has endorsed the re-election bid of Honourable Bamidele Salam.
The Governor’s endorsement of the National Assembly lawmaker representing Egbedore/Ede/Ejigbo federal constituency was made known in Osogbo on Sunday at the final match of the third edition of Otunba Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke Memorial Football competition organised annually by the Rep member, Hon Bamidele Salam.
“As a sport lover, I want to commend and appreciate Hon Bamidele Salam for honouring and celebrating my late brother, the first Civilian Governor of this state, Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke”
“This football competition is epoch making, as it was a way to immortalise my brother and to groom the youths through sporting activities for development.
“These and many others are part of several stewardship activities of Hon. Bamidele Salam, and no doubt, if he gets re-elected, I’m sure he will advance on the course of the giant development he’s carrying out for the good people of Ede/Ejigbo/Egbedore federal constituency”
“I hereby urge the good people of Ede Federal constituency to vote massively for the reelection of Honourable Bamidele Salam” the governor stated.
Also, the Proprietor and founder of Adeleke University (AU), Dr Deji Adeleke and the Director of Southwest Atiku-Okowa Women Mobilisation Presidential campaign Council, Yeye Modupe Adeleke-Sani equally endorsed Salaam, describing his gesture as a worthy cause.
They also affirmed their support for the re-election, describing him as a servant leader who understands the yearnings of the people he represents and have a track record worthy of support.”
The climax of the football competition saw the Egbedore football team defeating Osun Football Academy to win the third edition of the Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke Memorial Football competition organised by Hon Bamidele Salam.
