Lagos State Government yesterday began the installation of the precast concrete culvert across the Metal Box Road, in Ogba. The government had announced a week traffic diversion along Oba Ogunji Road, Ogba, to execute the project.
Explaining the diversion plan which would be on, until July 5th, 2022, the Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde said the installation will provide lasting solutions to the flooding issues in the area.
He therefore urged motorists in the area to use Acme Road, Wempco, Akilo and Ijaiye Roads to connect their desired destinations, as the Metal Box Road will be barricaded from traffic.
He affirmed that the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority will be on ground to manage movement and minimize inconveniences.
