Discharge your duty patriotically, Atiku tasks INEC, Security agencies

The Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on Wednesday, issued a strict warning to security agencies and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to desist from partisanship and discharge their duty in this month’s election patriotically.

Atiku, gave this warning in Maiduguri, while addressing a mammoth crown of the party’s supporters that besieged the popular Ramat Square, to welcome him to the state on a campaign rally.

He insisted that: “The ruling APC government  is planning by recent posting of state commissioners of police to rig the election,” he warned that security agencies and INEC should not allow themselves to be used.

He promised that: “If I am elected i will restore peace back to the Northeast and Nigeria in general. I will revive the economy, create jobs and fight poverty.”

He told the cheering crowd that: “Buhari must go. I know you people of Borno are fearless, so you need to say Buhari must go. If you elect me you are going back home and we will empower you. When times come for election vote for all PDP candidates”

He advised the electorates not to make the mistake of voting APC again, as the party has failed  Nigerians.

The PDP Presidential candidate pointed out that his administration will accord priority to education, healthcare and provide job opportunities to teeming youths of the region which is backward in indices of development.

He noted with concern the level of poverty in the country which requires immediate and deliberate effort to address.

PDP National Chairman Chief Uche Secondus said Atiku Abubakar has the capacity and experience to move the country forward.
