Officials of the Department of State Services (DSS) had to resort to sporadic gunshots to disperse protesters who stormed the headquarters of the service over the continued detention of the convener of the #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore on Tuesday.
The protesters had stormed the DSS office on Tuesday morning but were met with resistance by the officials who started shooting sporadically to disperse them.
It would be recalled that Sowore had met his bail conditions since last Tuesday and was expected to have been released on the order of the court.
The DSS are however refusing to release the RevolutionNow Protest Campaigner and publisher of Sahara Reporters.
