Edo 2024: APC will retain Ondo, unseat APGA in Anambra – Ganduje

Ganduje

The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has revealed that the party is eyeing Anambra State after its victory in Edo State.

Ganduje, made the disclosure at the APC national secretariat in Abuja, after Senator Monday Okpebholo’s victory in the Edo election.

He highlighted the party’s plans to challenge the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Anambra next year and increase its presence in the southeast.

According to Ganduje: “We have started working to develop strategies to win these states. Next year, Anambra State will follow. Let me remind you that we have a project which we named political de-marginalisation of the South East geo-political zone.

That project is also a task that must be done. We will face the south-east zone with five states. We already have two, but two is too small for a big party like ours. We will face that state and see how we can recover many states in our favour.”
