The Emir of Kano State, Aminu Ado Bayero, has described the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, as a man of his word who always keeps his promises.
Bayero gave the eulogy when he received the Minister who led a delegation of the National Council on Transportation on a courtesy visit to the Emir’s palace in Kano.
The Emir, while commending the minister for his achievements in the transportation sector, said he was delighted with the ongoing projects in the State.
“I am delighted to welcome you to the palace and I want to commend you for the great things you have achieved.
“Whatever you have promised, you have done; what you are doing now is just to add value to the promises you have already made.
“I really appreciate you for your great support.
“We will continue to pray for your good health and the wisdom to continue the good work you are doing; that is why a lot of Nigerians support you.
“I commend the achievements of this administration, under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari, because a lot has been achieved.
“But, we still need more projects.
“I recall that you were once a speaker, a governor for two terms and now a minister.
“In every position you have held, your impact has been felt and we appreciate your contributions to the country.
“You will always have my full support and may the Almighty Allah bless all you have done,” Bayero said.
Earlier, the minister said that the National Transportation Council was hosted by the State because Kano is a transportation hub.
Amaechi also appreciated the State Government for its support.
