The Federal Government on Tuesday described as tissues of lies, reports purportedly submitted by the panel of inquiry into the #EndSARS protests and shootings at the Lekki Toll Gate on October 20, last year.
The Minister of Information and Culture Alhaji Lai Mohammed who made this known at a press conference in Abuja insisted that there were no massacre in Lagos.
Mohammed described the report which was leaked to the media moments after it was submitted as “tales by moonlight”, insisting that the massacre must have occured only in the imaginations of the panel.
He wondered why Nigerians are willing to believe in a fictitious unsigned report, while the white paper is being awaited by the state government.
