Chelsea will stay top of the Premier League until Sunday evening at least, following their 3-1 win over Southampton on Saturday.
The Blues were looking to bounce back at Stamford Bridge, following back-to-back defeats against Manchester City and Juventus.
And they started sharply, with Trevoh Chalobah making it 1-0 with a diving header.
However, Ben Chilwell gave a penalty away, with James Ward-Prowse sending Eduoard Mendy the wrong way.
The game changed in Chelsea’s favour, after Ward-Prowse was shown a straight red for a hard tackle on Thiago Silva.
Timo Werner and Chilwell both scored in the last ten minutes to seal the win.
Thomas Tuchel’s men now have 16 points after seven fixtures.
